Tharo introduces front apply label printer and applicator

Tharo Systems has launched PA1200fa for specialty applications requiring the front of a product to be labeled.

The printer applicator can accurately and cost effectively print and apply labels to the leading edge of a product moving down a conveyor where product line constraints mean the orientation cannot be changed.

Once printed, a label is stripped from the liner and held by suction on the applicator tamp pad, which is mounted on a heavy-duty swing arm that extends over a conveyor and tamps the label to the product.  Labels can be as small as 3” x 1” and up to 4.5” x 8”.

PA1200fa is currently available using the Tharo H-Series direct  thermal or thermal transfer printers with print resolutions of 203 or 300 dpi.
