UPM Raflatac updates Label Material Finder

UPM Rafltac has launched a Label Material Finder for Digital Printers, helping converters to match suitable label materials to their presses and desktop printers

UPM Rafltac, a global manufacturer of labelstock, has launched a Label Material Finder for Digital Printers, helping converters to match suitable label materials to their presses and desktop printers.

The company’s interactive tool has recently undergone a series of upgrades to make it easier for converters to learn which of UPM Raflatac’s sustainable paper and film labeling materials will perform best on their presses.

The tool provides up-to-date and accurate product information about UPM Raflatac's digital label stock materials as well as star ratings for how they will perform on various digital printers, ranging from small desktop models to industrial-scale digital presses.

Users will now find it easier to access the correct information by searching products filtered by technology or by specific printer model. Each user also has the option to export the results as PDFs document to quickly and conveniently access them later.

‘Our upgraded Label Material Finder for Digital Printers tool is just what many converters are looking for,’ commented Kirit Naik, Ph.D., global director of digital printing technologies at UPM Raflatac. ‘We constantly work with OEMs to qualify our label materials on their printers and are always adding new results in the tool about how which materials performed on which printers. I invite any interested OEM who would like to see their equipment on the tool to please contact us.’

Label Material Finder for Digital Printers tool can be accessed on the UPM Raflatac’s website. It is also available for registered users on the MyRaflatac customer platform.
