UV Ray develops system to ensure purity of nitrogen in inert gas UV curing

The patented system ensures a value of 100ppm, and is claimed to be the only system able to offer independent management of the nitrogen quantity owing to an in-built sensor that monitors, processes and manages the generator.

Further advances evident in the system include: nitrogen consumption reduced by up to 10 times; nitrogen generators replacing storage systems, facilitated by the reduced consumption; Smart Sensor, as detailed here, allowing continuous readings in real time and collecting and processing data used for certification in sectors such as pharmaceuticals and food; automated operation with the nitrogen quantity managed; odorless operation; and ‘excellent’ polymerization, with Smart Nitrogen having ‘raised the standard’, especially in extreme applications and in terms of repeatability, according to UV Ray.

Smart Nitrogen is described by UV Ray as an ‘evolution’ and representing a, ‘giant leap ahead in terms of technological innovation’, not only for its own systems but for all inert technology systems.

‘At present, it is the best system with extremely high performance for high-productivity systems available on the mark,’ the company said in a statement.
