Vetaphone to show updated corona-plus treater station

At drupa, Vetaphone will show its updated TOU8 station with a quick change system.

The open type of corona-plus treater station has an easily accessible design for single or double sided treatment of a wide range of applications. The stations can be fitted with a wide range of ceramic and metallic electrodes in a variety of shapes. The treater stations give optimum surface adhesion on all types of plastic, paper and metal substrates.

The Vetaphone treater stations can all been fitted with the corona quick change electrodes. The complete corona electrode is mounted in a specially designed pull-out / push-in cartridge, enabling quick and easy cleaning or changing of the complete set of electrodes, in a matter of seconds, without the use of tools, and ensuring minimal downtime and increased productivity.

The electrode cartridge is available with segment-, profile and ceramic electrodes. The quick change electrode cartridge is aimed at film lines with widths from 100mm to up to 2500mm.
