A new WastePAC Densifier model from trim waste and scrap solution provider Precision AirConvey, Newark, Delaware, features a series of enhancements that are claimed to boost the machine’s strength and longevity in a low-maintenance design.

To be unveiled at CMM International 2007 on June 4 in Rosemont, Illinois, the WastePAC Densifier model automatically converts clean and post-consumer plastic film, foil, poly-coated paper and other waste material into rigid bricks stretching from four inches to more than eight feet long with a 40 to 1 compaction ratio while running 24/7 with minimal operator involvement.

Developed for plastic film processors, converters, contract packagers and recycling and waste handling companies, the automated WastePAC Densifier comes standard with a durable, hardened steel blade, an expansive sensor array to monitor the blade and detect potential maintenance requirements and a heavy-duty piston for powerful compression and extended life. The advanced components are set within a sturdy steel safety frame with removable shell for interior access.
