Werosys adds cloud-based Industry 4.0 and IoT connectivity

Werosys has enabled the integration all of its machines with customer’s IT infrastructure and Werosys cloud servers, as it seeks to take full advantage of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Such connectivity allows real-time monitoring of all Werosys machines and full remote control, as well as consolidation of machine and job data in the cloud.

The collected data can be used not only to locate a problem, but to anticipate breakdowns and schedule preventative maintenance.

It also allows collection of data about the machine to provide reports on efficiency and waste levels.

This feature is demonstrated on the Werosys stand at Labelexpo Europe 2017.
