OMET VaryFlex-F1 installed in Germany

Illert Etiketten has recently installed an OMET VaryFlex-F1 press at its production facility in Hanau, near Frankfurt, Germany.  The versatility of the new OMET, which is an 8-color line with a web width of 670 mm, will allow Illert to offer its customers shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, and folding cartons, in addition to labels.
 
‘Omet was the first manufacturer to successfully install package printing machines with a 670 mm web width,’ said Maximilian Illert, who is one of the driving forces behind the company’s new direction.  ‘We tested the VaryFlex-F1 against other competitive machines and proved conclusively that the print quality of Omet's press was superior on all flexible materials, even the most difficult ones like 12 micron BOPP films,’ he added.
