Paxar launches smart labels for food industry

Paxar Corporation has launched its range of FreshMarx food labels to help chefs reduce the amount of time spent maintaining food stock rotation. ‘Contrary to what many foodservice operators and chefs might think, maintaining a proper food storage and rotation system is quite easy, especially if you have the right applications in place,’ says the company. FreshMarx labels can be used to meet hazard compliance requirements and to help identify where food hazards may occur. They can be applied to frozen products in temperatures as low as -5c. The range includes DissolvX labels which disintegrate in dishwasher, color-coded freezer-proof Shelf-Life Labels (FreezX) and RemovXtra removable shelf life labels.
