Andreas Friedrich to take over as KBA Asia Pacific general manager
KBA has promoted Stefan Segger to the position of sales director for the KBA-Digital & Web Solutions division, with Andreas Friedrich to take over the running of KBA’s subsidiary in the Asia-Pacific region.

Friedrich has been active in web press sales since 2001 and has worked at KBA-China in Shanghai since 2005. As general manager for the sales and service of KBA web presses in China, North and East Asia he also has many years of experience and contacts in the Asian market. He speaks English and Chinese.
Segger began his career in 1984 working at Albert-Frankenthal, and for the last 12 years has served as general manager of KBA Asia Pacific in Singapore. He later also took over the running of KBA-Australasia. He has since been responsible for the sales and service of KBA sheet-fed and web presses in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and has considerably expanded KBA’s market position in this growth region together with his team.
A focus of his new role will be to establish KBA digital presses more firmly in the market and expand his ties with commercial and newspaper companies active in the field of web offset printing. KBA added that his experience in key account management is ‘extremely beneficial’.
Segger will take up his new position as of October 1, and be based in Würzburg, Germany.
