Avery Dennison RFID appoints vice president, sales and marketing
Avery Dennison RFID, a business unit of Avery Dennison Corporation, and provider of radio frequency identification inlays, has announced that George Reynolds has joined the company to serve as vice president of sales and marketing.
In this role, Mr Reynolds will direct all facets of the company’s global RFID sales and marketing including managing and recruiting staff, establishing marketing initiatives, driving financial performance and working with the division management team to define and execute the Company's RFID business strategy. Mr Reynolds joins the company from Tyco International, where he held similar positions. Avery Dennison also reported that it will relocate the company’s RFID division's sales and marketing operations at its Atlanta Technical Center located in Flowery Branch, Georgia.

He will be instrumental in helping us define the division's strategy and will play a key role in securing RFID business and building strategic relationships.
‘Consolidating the division’s technical and marketing functions at the Atlanta Technical Center will enable us to meet our long-range technical advancement and market outreach objectives and solidifies our commitment to serve the division’s rapidly developing RFID customer base with product marketing, testing and technical support all under one roof.’
Mr Reynolds has more than 20 years of technical engineering and marketing experience. Most recently he was vice president of RFID in Tyco International's fire and security segment. Previously, he was vice president for Sensormatic Electronics' line of security tags and has served in engineering and product design positions for Sensormatic, Chrysler, Motorola, and NCR Corporation.
