Flint Group appoints new VP marketing and technology flexographic products

Flint Group has appointed Dr. Eva Freudenthaler as vice president marketing and technology flexographic products. She has also become a member of the divisional leadership team for Flint Group Flexographic Products.

Freudenthaler succeeds Dr. Uwe Stebani, who will leave the company as of March 31 to pursue a new challenge within the industry. As vice president technology Stebani is said to have played an important role in helping to shape the technological direction of Flint Group Flexographic Products and is considered as one of the main architects in establishing the successful printing plates business.

 

After studying chemistry, Freudenthaler began her professional career in 1997 as R&D Manager at BASF Aktiengesellschaft. In 2003, she moved to the former BASF Printing Systems business and was initially in charge of the global marketing management and controlling of the printing plates business unit. Since the formation of Flint Group, she has held various positions, including vice president marketing and technology Flint Group Packaging and Narrow Web. Latterly, as vice president Flint Group strategic development, she was involved in the development of the company’s strategy and its implementation into the different business units.

 

Flint commented that Freudenthaler will further promote the divisional innovation process with her excellent knowledge of products and industry.
