Harper expands printing and coatings supplies division

Harper Corporation of America is expanding HarperScientific with the promotion of Stephen Reinhardt to the position of products specialist.

HarperScientific has promoted Stephen Reinhardt as products specialist

Reinhardt is the first products specialist to work in the HarperScientific business unit, with the position created to improve the organization's ability to partner with clients regarding product application and technical support.

Reinhardt has worked at Harper Corporation of America for nearly two decades, and been exposed to several facets of the flexographic industry as a result. He holds FIRST certification as an implementation specialist and, for the past six years, has worked in the company's GraphicSolutions team.

HarperScientific is the printing and coatings supplies division of Harper Corporation of America, with facilities in North Carolina and Wisconsin in the US, and in Bangkok, Thailand. It serves the flexo, offset and gravure industries, as well as all OEM markets with printing presses, by offering supplies for all segments of the printing industry. This includes supplies for various inks, adhesives and coatings, including water-, solvent- and UV-based inks, such as the CreamClean II range of ink cleaning solutions and the Phantom QD ink proofing and flatbed testing system.

The decision to expand the HarperScientific division with the appointment of a products specialist was sparked by recent growth the organization has experienced regarding the sales and industry acceptance of Harper Corporation's products, such as the Phantom QD.

Jim Harper, HarperScientific vice-president, said: ‘Once the decision was made to add the new position, the search pointed to Stephen as the best possible candidate for the job.’
