UK-based machinery supplier appoints Mark James as general manager, replacing David Buckley, retiring Sparc’s managing director.
James will be overseeing general sales and business improvements, with a focus on new markets. He has been tasked with identifying key industry challenges and to driving more technically integrated product solutions.
‘Sparc are at the forefront of food production technology and intelligent systems development and I am delighted to join the leadership team. I’m looking forward to contributing to Sparc’s important work in improving sustainability in the industry and introducing innovative products that build on this commitment,’ commented Mark James on his appointment.
James brings over 25 years’ experience to the role of GM, including tenures in global roles at Xerox, OCS Checkweighers and Yamato.
