Maxcess appoints global product manager for Fife line

Maxcess, a manufacturer of web handling equipment, has promoted Darren Irons to global product manager, Fife Guiding and Inspection.
Irons joined Maxcess in 2007 as global product manager, Magpowr Tension Control, where he launched several products, including IP67-rated load cells, an expanded line of magnetic particle brakes and a new tension control. Prior to joining Maxcess, Irons served Texas Instruments in various positions including product manager, product line strategy manager and product marketing manager. Irons has an Executive MBA from Baylor University in finance and marketing.
