New technical director at Innovision Research & Technology

Innovision Research & Technology has appointed Heikki Huomo as technical director. He joins the company’s RFID IC design team in Cirencester, Gloucester, UK, from Nokia Ventures, Finland, where he was director of ubiquitous communication.

Commenting on his appointment, Heikki Huomo said: ‘I am very excited to be joining Innovision. I am personally committed to the Near Field Communication "touch" paradigm and Innovision will be at the heart of this revolution. I see exciting times ahead.’
