Nilpeter appoints industry veteran to drive digital business

Nilpeter has appointed Gernot Schneider as its new digital product manager, with the remit to support the press manufacturer’s customer base with his extensive technical knowledge.

Schneider has experience in digital printing spanning 20 years, including holding management positions at Screen Europe, HP Indigo and as managing director of consultancy firm ARTC. Schneider took up his new position as of May 10, and is based in Brussels, Belgium.

Søren Ringbo, general manager for digital products at Nilpeter, said: ‘Gernot’s in-depth inkjet knowledge and technological curiosity will be extremely beneficial to the Nilpeter digital team.’

Nilpeter introduced the Panorama product line at Labelexpo Europe 2015. Ikonprint installed the first Panorama in Denmark, with Schneider (right) pictured inspecting print samples from the press.
