Peter Van Teeseling named Dscoop global director of operations

With over four years of experience as regional director of its EMEA operation, Dscoop said he has implemented numerous successful initiatives and best practices within that regional structure. He will now bring this extensive experience to his new role and scale these projects for the global Dscoop community.

‘Peter has played an integral role in researching, determining the appropriate direction and implementing working tools and application platforms for the global Dscoop organization,’ said John Rogers, Dscoop global executive director. ‘His collaborative approach with key stakeholders from the Dscoop regions in North America and Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ), with our premier sponsor, HP, and our many industry partners, has enabled Dscoop to standardise many of its operations thus becoming more efficient and timely in responding to our community’s needs and partner engagement. In this new capacity he will be responsible for ensuring our business processes will be best in class, and delivery of our value proposition will be the most expedient.’

Dscoop is a global community of graphic arts companies and industry partners who use HP digital print technologies, including HP Indigo and Scitex, and collaborate by sharing ideas and information that drive industry-leading innovation and individual business growth. ‘Just like any other business, Dscoop needs to prepare for the future,’ commented Van Teeseling. ‘We need to keep adapting to ensure that our members continue to benefit from relevant and valuable resources that help them grow their businesses. For example, last year my team and I introduced a Dscoop EMEA mobile app. The response to the app was incredible and it really helped to strengthen and build regional Dscoop networks. This is just one of the initiatives that I plan to develop for the global Dscoop community, creating a means to keep the entire group connected while maintaining a level of local, personal support, right there in your back pocket.’

Having been greatly involved in the planning and organisation of this year’s Dscoop EMEA conference, taking place April 5-8 in Tel Aviv, Israel, Van Teeseling will maintain responsibility for this event with the existing team.

‘Dscoop is like an incubator of positivity, generating constructive feedback, inspiration for new business opportunities and optimism for the road ahead,’ added Van Teeseling. ‘All of that positive energy is focused in one direction – the future growth and success of the print industry. It’s very satisfying to be involved in that and I look forward to now playing my part on a global level.’
