RotoMetrics announces appointments in sales and marketing

Karen Moreland has been appointed to the newly created role of vice president, global marketing and business development, RotoMetrics.
Reporting to the company’s president and CEO, she will be responsible for supporting strategic new business development initiatives; global product management; developing multi-national customer and OEM opportunities, and coordinating regional marketing activities.
In another newly created role, Molly Moroni will join RotoMetrics on August 27, 2012, as sales director, US and Canada. She will take responsibility for leading the company’s sales initiatives throughout the United States and Canada.
Moreland joined RotoMetrics in 1989 and has held prior roles as vice president of international operations and vice president of sales, Americas, leading initiatives to grow the company’s business by improving and expanding its geographical sales presence, manufacturing operations and product offerings on a global scale. She is an active member of TLMI and Finat.
Robert Spiller, RotoMetrics’ president and CEO, said: ‘Throughout her career, Karen has developed critical client, OEM, and industry knowledge, contributing to the company's success. She has also worked closely with product development, positioning RotoMetrics as a major player in the evolving flexible die and specialty converting markets.’
Moroni most recently served as general manager for Checkpoint Systems, Apparel Labeling Solutions. She started with Checkpoint as sales director for the labeling unit and grew the business from USD 12 million to over USD 60 million in sales. Prior to this role, she worked in a variety of sales, marketing and business development leadership roles with Zebra Technologies and Monarch Marking Systems / Paxar. She is a graduate of Regis University having studied Communication Arts and Economics.
