Sappi appoints marketing communications, business development manager

Peter Tielemans has taken over the new position of marketing communications and business development manager at Sappi.

In his new position, Tielmemans will be responsible for business development as leader of the European specification sales team and the marketing communications team. He will also be responsible for the further development and implementation of Sappi's CRM (customer relationship management) and customer intimacy approach to target end-users.

Tielemans joined Sappi in 1991 and has held positions as technical sales manager and specification sales manager in Sappi's Benelux sales office. In September 2005 he was appointed European technical and specification sales manager and was responsible for the development of European specification sales.
