Scodix grows executive team in line with global growth

Scodix has added Amit Shvartz and Dennis Kercher to its executive team in response to worldwide growth for its technology and products.

Shvartz is joining Scodix as vice-president of marketing, while Kercher has been appointed as North American sales manager, western Region.

Shvartz has joined Scodix with over 18 years of experience in executive marketing management. In his previous position, he was vice-president of marketing a Extricom, a privately held firm specializing in enterprise wireless LAN. Prior to Extricom, he held a similar role at Objet Geometrics as well as holding executive-level positions over a 10-year period beginning in 1995 with Scitex and Creo.

Kercher, who will now manage all sales responsibilities for the western US and western provinces of Canada, was previously account manager at Domino Amjet for the western region. He had marketed inkjet systems to the tag & label market, as well as commercial printers. Prior to Domino Amjet, he worked at both Creo and Kodak over a 16-year period.

In addition to these appointments, Ziki Kuly (pictured, top) has been promoted to the new position of vice-president of customer business development. Kuly previously served as marketing vice-president, the role now to be filled by Shvartz.

Since joining Scodix in 2009, Kuly has worked to position the Scodix as a market leader and to elevate the digital print enhancement itself to prominence. In his new position Kuly will focus upon assisting and training Scodix customers worldwide to increase print output.

The plan also includes the increase of the commercial and customer support teams, and the appointment of a full time business development manager.

‘Dennis will ensure that the Scodix disruptive technology is accessible and available to all the pioneers in the western part of North America, enabling more companies in the region to standout.’
