Scodix strengthens presence in North America with appointment of Mark Nixon as VP and GM
Digital print enhancement specialist Scodix has appointed Mark Nixon as vice president of sales and general manager of Scodix North America as it continues to strengthen its presence and market position in the region.

Nixon has had a career spanning more than 25 years in sales, marketing and managerial positions with several of the industry’s most prominent graphic arts and commercial printing companies, including Du Pont, Scitex, Creo and KBA. More recently, he was the founder and owner of Conversion UK, a firm that specialized in marketing and supporting value-add offerings, amongst them Scodix. In his new role, he will be responsible for sales, customer support, marketing and operations in both the American and Canadian markets.
‘In my career, I’ve had the good fortune to work with many of the industry’s most successful players,’ said Nixon. ‘In most cases, the difference between gaining market acceptance and dropping off the map is often your audience’s perception, and not reality. Scodix has already earned industry mindshare as the producer of true value-add innovation that elevates commercial printers and converters via both revenues and marketing differentiation. I am excited about engaging North American PSPs and showing them how putting Scodix on top will put them on top.’
Scodix CEO Roy Porat said the supplier, ‘continues to grow and capture the North American market, one major service provider at a time’, while, 'increasing both mindshare and market share’.
‘This is clearly in evidence by the tremendous impact our solutions are having on our customers and their business,’ said Porat. ‘Adding a strong experienced individual with a successful track record, such as Mark Nixon’s, to our growing professional team not only demonstrates our dedication to the marketplace’s needs, but will further increase our access and penetration in the region.’
