Kodak reports successful GUA conference

The seventh annual Graphic Users Association of Kodak Solutions (GUA) Conference hosted over 150 customers from 18 countries at the two-day event held in Kodak’s La Hulpe facility, Belgium, in October.
Delegates representing the commercial, publishing and packaging sectors saw a wide range of topics discussed at the conference, including making money from web to print, leveraging cross-media in integrated marketing campaigns, using offset and digital to create a cost-effective hybrid set-up, and how to step up from print service provider to marketing service provider.
The GUA is a worldwide organization created by and for Kodak technology users. The European branch of the association board, which governs the activities of the European association, comprises seven Kodak customers and two Kodak representatives.
Stephen Lavey of Walter Digital said: ‘It was a really useful couple of days. I spoke with a lot of people and discussed many technical issues. It’s been very enlightening – I’m looking forward to next year’s event.’
Gudrun Alex, marketing director, Commercial Business & Shared Services, Kodak EAMER, said: ‘The conference was a huge success. Customers came to network, learn more about our Kodak solutions, share experiences and expertise – and have some fun! We’ve had great feedback from customers, particularly regarding the quality of the sessions and our Kodak demo center.’
