PTS JetFlex on display at FTS open house

Printing Technology Services (PTS) is cooperating with the Flexographic Trade School, Mark Andy and other FTS vendor sponsors in hosting an open house on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at the FTS facility in Fort Mills, South Carolina.

The open house celebrates the installation of two new Mark Andy 2200 presses and the PTS JetFlex Series 2500 variable data inkjet printing system integrated with a Mark Andy 2200 flexo press.

This event gives printers and converters the opportunity to see the JetFlex Series 2500 inkjet printing system in operation, in-line with a Mark Andy 2200 press, and to see the FTS facility. Attendees will be able to see live variable data inkjet printing to produce lottery tickets, which includes a varnish overcoat step and scratch-off coating application.

Converters, printers, media and industry colleagues are invited to attend the event. In addition to the press demonstrations and break-out vendor sessions, planned events include a golf tournament on Monday, April 7; and two complimentary hands-on training sessions for attendees, held Wednesday and Thursday, April 9-10.
