The University of Kansas is offering a three-day RFID implementation course, ‘How to Evaluate, Justify and Deploy Your Radio Frequency Identification Solution’, Monday–Wednesday, November 13–15, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The course is designed to give professionals the information needed to make critical decisions about RFID solutions.

The instructors include Dr Daniel Deavours, a research professor at the University of Kansas and director of research at the RFID Alliance Lab, and Michael McCartney, founder and principal of Quality Logistics Management (QLM), a consulting practice focusing on RFID technology and its implementation.

Attendees will walk away from our course with the latest analysis of Gen 2 tag products from the RFID Alliance Lab; A CD-ROM containing class presentations, ROI calculators, and vendor questionnaires; A copy of the second edition of ‘RFID Labeling: Smart Labeling Concepts & Applications for the Consumer Packaged Goods Supply Chain’; and QLM’s 12 step implementation guide that will enable them to better interpret and master the foundations of enduring business achievement. They will also receive access to our discussion website where they can discuss their progress with the instructors and other attendees after the seminar.

Because the class includes hands-on experience using RFID products from multiple vendors, it is taught in a small group setting. Therefore, it’s important to register early before the class fills up.
