RotoMetrics acquired by Morgenthaler and management

RotoMetrics, a rotary die manufacturer for the narrow web industry, has been acquired by Morgenthaler Partners and RotoMetrics’ management. Morgenthaler Partners is a private investment firm focusing on high-value manufacturing and business services.

Finalized on March 14, the acquisition of the family-owned business is part of a planned succession strategy to foster continued growth as RotoMetrics aims to strengthen its leadership position in the rotary tooling industry.  RotoMetrics' long-standing management team remains intact with the exception that a new CEO will be joining the company.

In a recent memo to its customers, RotoMetrics said, ‘We expect the change in our ownership to be transparent to our customers. You’ll still receive the same dedicated and competent service that you’ve come to know and expect from RotoMetrics’ worldwide operations. In fact, we hope to be even better positioned to anticipate and meet the evolving demands of our market.’
