Sandon Global appoints agent in South Africa

In a move to strengthen its growing presence in the region, Sandon Global has appointed Typeface Print Services as the agent in South Africa for its range of laser engraved, ceramic coated anilox and gravure rollers.

Established in 2007, Glenhills based Typeface Print Services is a privately owned company specializing in the supply of UV flexographic printing inks that also provides technical support for applications including shrink-sleeves, self-adhesive and sleeve labels.

Kevin Meyer of Typeface Print Services commented: ‘Being a supplier of Sericol UV inks to the print industry, Sandon Global is an ideal fit that will combine technologies and play a huge roll for us with its technical expertise, quality and innovative ideas. Established in 2004, Sandon Global manufactures laser engraved ceramic coated anilox and gravure rollers for the flexographic printing industry. The company serves an international market and has established itself as a key supplier to both privately owned and blue chip printing and packaging groups throughout the UK and Europe. The company also offers a full engineering service for both repairing rolls and sleeves as well as developing new concepts in roll and sleeve technologies.
