Ship2Save signs strategic alliance with SATO America
Ship2Save, an RFID systems integrator with headquarters in Montreal, Canada, has signed a strategic alliance agreement with SATO, a provider of barcode printing, labeling, and EPC/RFID solutions.
Ship2Save specializes in designing and implementing RFID solutions for the transportation, warehousing, sea freight, retail, consumer product goods, aerospace, oil & gas and automotive industries in North America. It develops and deploys customized hardware and software systems that integrate into the customer’s existing legacy systems while working with the specific industry standards of each customer’s particular market niche.
The partnership features the integration of multiple SATO products with Ship2Save’s flagship applications; the OMS, a vertical-market specific RFID middleware, and UITS, an RFID-powered mobile-asset tracking system. Also, as an authorized training center for SATO products in Canada, the Ship2Save state-of-the-art research lab will provide resellers and end users alike with a hands-on RFID environment to learn about RFID products and how they are featured within a complete RFID system.
‘Our ability to excel in this market-space is, in no small part, thanks to our prestigious set of alliance partners. SATO is one of the industry leaders in RFID tags, encoding and barcode printing, and it is with this focused and steadfast approach to developing a solid partnership base that we continue to excel in our business. It is a privilege to work with the great team at SATO,’ said Sam Falsafi, business development & RFID strategy manager at Ship2Save.
‘Emerging applications for RFID require an integrator with a keen understanding of the market, their customer's needs and the core processes they require. We're confident that Ship2Save has the products, services, expertise and commitment to their customers; and in offering our products, we welcome their partnership with SATO,’ stated Gary Krause, SATO America's director of marketing.
