Sleever International, a global provider of sleeving solutions, has helped give Wyborowa vodka an new look for the Christmas and New Year holiday. The new premium sleeve has won its first award even before the product goes on sale.

‘This is a beautiful, attention-grabbing and exciting new design,’ said Eric Masson, Sleever International’s European sales director. ‘The latest sleeving techniques also help make it practical.’

The design, by the agency Transgrey, uses ten colors, including silver ink to achieve the distinctive lightning design on the bottle. Practicality is added with another feature: a window running up the side of the bottle, which makes it easy to see exactly how much is left.

‘Ricard, the company which makes Wyborowa, is convinced that the new bottle, and the promotion campaign which will accompany its launch, will increase sales,’ said Masson. ‘The design throws away all the traditional design clichs used by vodka brands. Its striking appearance means that customers notice it straightaway.’

The quality of the printing has already received the Prestige Pro Hlio 2005 award. ‘It’s been recognized by the industry’s experts as a great realization,’ said Masson. ‘We’re proud to be associated with it. It’s a great looking packaging solution.’
