Stralfors has been certified according to ISO/TS – the high quality demands of the automotive industry

ISO/TS 16949 is a system for quality regulation with specific requirements for application of ISO 9001:2000 in the automotive industry. Stralfors has now implemented ISO/TS 16949, striving to become a strategic supplier to businesses in the automotive industry.   

Stralfors has previously been certified according to the predecessor QS9000 and has extensive knowledge of the specific industry requirements. Production is governed by activities within the industry’s tools for quality planning, APQP, and these are well documented in a plan adapted to Stralfors’ activities. Every activity of the production process is ruled by a specific control plan. Working with P-FMEA as a risk analysis tool constitutes an important part of Stralfors’ improvement process. Stralfors also carries out training sessions in basic ISO/TS and internal audits with good results.
