CNI Group expands focus on label material business across Europe

CNI Group, a Hungarian company with roots in paint and coating distribution, is significantly expanding its footprint in the label material industry across Europe.

The company operates from facilities in Prague, Czech Republic, Tiszaujvaros, Hungary and Slovenske Pravno, Slovakia, with supporting warehouses. CNI Group aims to reach more digital and small to mid-size printers with an expanded portfolio, including label materials.

CNI Group's Hungarian facility, which was established in 2002, has been recognized for its expertise in UV and dispersion varnishes and inks, particularly in the flexo packaging segment. The company maintains ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications and continuously improves GMP processes.

The expansion strategy focuses on becoming a stable supplier of essential label materials for the EU market. CNI Group is increasing its presence across Europe, reaching customers from Portugal to Poland.

'The target is to reach more digital and small-mid size printers with the right portfolio including label materials,' the company said. The expansion includes comprehensive material supply and efficient logistics capabilities.

CNI Group is also preparing for Labelexpo Europe 2025, showcasing sample products from its portfolio dedicated to small and mid-sized customers, with a focus on digital flexo and finishing in the label business. The sample structure contains common and successful grades of label materials.

The standard range includes PWG6060 white PP, PTG5060 clear PP, PAG5060 metallic silver PP and PHPS5060 holo rainbow PP materials. Thermal options feature PWM75F60THY white top PP and PWM95F60THY white top PP. The Indigo and inkjet range comprises PWG6060IN white PP, PTG5060IN clear PP and PAG5060IN metallic silver PP.

The company emphasizes that all facestock materials are food-compliant and reliable for various applications across printing technologies.
