Gmund and Dapy join Luxury Packaging show

Gmund and Dapy are to exhibit for the first time at the Luxury Packaging show, which is co-located with Packaging Innovations London and the Brand & Design Village 2013.

This is the first time either company has exhibited at Luxury Packaging, which is taking place on October 1-2 at London’s Business Design Centre.

Others to exhibit as part of the expanding Luxury Packaging event include GF Smith Ltd, Wrapology, HH Deluxe Packaging, Cole Fabrics Pic, Macfarlane Packaging, Premier Ribbon Bows & Boxes, Progress Packaging and MNC Stribbons.

Gmund has been manufacturing paper since 1829. Today, its fine papers are used by many of the world’s most prestigious brands, such as Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, Campari, Trump International Golf Links Scotland, Cannes Film Festival and Godiva Chocolatier.

Simret Woldu, international sales manager at Gmund UK , said: ‘London is at the heart of the design, brand and innovation community; it’s the place where many designers and buyers working for major luxury brands go when looking for new ideas and inspiration.

‘So when we heard that there was a packaging event in London that attracts over 3,000 people, with a dedicated Luxury Packaging show co-located in the same venue, we just had to be there.

‘Packaging Innovations London 2013 will give us a tremendous opportunity to showcase our work, and the extraordinary effects and finished look people can achieve with our products. We also plan to connect with many contacts within the packaging and print industries.’

Luxury packaging and point of sale (PoS) specialist Dapy is also exhibiting at the show for the first time.

Marc Bruneau, sales manager at Dapy, said: ‘Packaging Innovations London was already a very interesting show, but the addition of the co-located Luxury Packaging show has taken it to a new level.

‘It’s so relevant for our business and the perfect place for us to present our latest innovations and reach potential customers.’
