Leicester, UK-based converter Label Apeel has won three new accounts in the brewery sector.

The company has begun working for microbreweries Keltek Brewery in Cornwall, Brewster’s Brewery in Grantham and Elgoods Brewery in Wisbech. It will be working alongside each to develop both the functionality and aesthetics of their labels with a view to growing their relationships with the major grocery multiples.

Utilizing its complimentary label design service, which concentrates on the branding of a product as well as the physical label, Label Apeel is working alongside these entrepreneurial brewers to improve their shelf presence and appeal.

‘A label is a crucial selling tool for FMCG products of all descriptions – especially for bottled beers,’ explained Dave Cox, who heads up the company’s bottle labeling division. The label not only has to help the product to get off the shelf and into consumers’ baskets – it has to convince the retail buyers and category managers that it can achieve stand out on their shelves.

‘It’s our knowledge of this, as well as our ability to design the correct labels for purpose, that is really giving us the edge in this market. We’re happy to be helping our microbrewery clients to play their part in this currently market defying, fast growth sector.’
