Spanish security specialist Visatac has been awarded by the UK Cards Association with the highest security certification for its Visapin label technology used for mailing PIN codes.

The laboratories of Smithers Pira were in charge of carrying out the optical, physical, and chemical tests and rewarded Visapin technology with Level 4 UKCA Standard 72 certification.

‘This new accreditation was made possible thanks to continuous improvement and investment in R&D, which enables us to provide maximum security and operational efficiency not only in mailing the PIN codes extensively used in the financial sector but also in a wide range of applications such as mailing access codes to online portals, conducting raffles, running online promotions, mailing passwords,’ said Miguel Peñalba, sales manager at Visatac.

‘The opportunity to customize logos, colors and label sizes makes Visapin not only the most secure solution but also a great tool for the issuing company to promote themselves and build brand recognition. Dozens of financial institutions, official organizations, and private companies are already taking advantage of this ability to customize,’ concluded Peñalba.
