Atlantic Zeiser unveils CodeVault serialization software
The company targets GS1 Sunrise compliance with new code management technology.

Atlantic Zeiser has introduced CodeVault, a secure software platform for generating, printing, storing and managing serial codes, as it prepares the industry for the transition from linear barcodes to 2D codes ahead of the GS1 Sunrise 2027 initiative.
The Coesia company will showcase the new serialization technology alongside its 2D code readiness capabilities at Labelexpo Europe 2025. CodeVault streamlines code creation and distribution across multiple printing houses and production sites, enabling automated serialization workflows while supporting security-focused and standardized data formats.
'With a strong focus on innovation and adaptability, Atlantic Zeiser continues to deliver technologies that support business growth and operational efficiency,' commented Alvise Cavallari, product manager at Atlantic Zeiser. 'We aim to help customers navigate industry changes with confidence and maximize the potential of their packaging codes.'
The GS1 Sunrise 2027 initiative is accelerating the shift from linear barcodes to 2D codes, which can carry richer information including production data, batch numbers, serial codes and expiry dates. Atlantic Zeiser's late-stage printing technology supports this transition by enabling the embedding of diverse data directly into 2D codes.
The CodeVault application provides real-time oversight of data and full integration into production lines, enhancing product identification, brand protection and compliance with regulatory requirements. The technology offers flexibility for late-stage customization of packaging artwork, unlocking both operational efficiencies and marketing opportunities.
Visitors to Labelexpo Europe 2025 will explore Atlantic Zeiser's integrated approach to secure code management and high-quality on-demand printing, designed to future-proof packaging and labeling operations in a rapidly evolving market.
