Esko earns EcoVadis Silver medal
Packaging technology provider recognized among the top 15 percent globally for sustainability performance.
Esko has earned a silver medal from ESG compliance platform EcoVadis, placing it among the top 15 percent of assessed companies worldwide for environmental responsibility, ethical business operations, labor policies and sustainable procurement practices.
The recognition marks significant progress from the company's bronze medal in 2023. The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
'As part of the Veralto family, we're guided by our values,' commented Paulina Velez, global sustainability and EHS senior manager at Esko. 'It's important for us to be leaders in what we do, but it's just as important to ensure we lead the right way, holding ourselves accountable and always striving to be greater.'
Velez noted the benefits of recognition for both Esko and its customers. 'We're dedicated to supporting our customers as they work towards their own sustainability goals. This silver recognition isn't just an achievement for us – it's a big win for our customers, too.'
EcoVadis has rated more than 130,000 companies globally. The business sustainability ratings are based on international sustainability standards, including the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative standards and the ISO 26000 standard.
Velez emphasized the company's commitment to continuous improvement. 'We are thrilled to be recognized with a silver medal, but the journey of continuous improvement is never-ending,' she added.
