Hybrid Software unveils pre-press automation upgrades

The company demonstrates the next-generation workflow technology at Labelexpo Europe 2025.

Hybrid Software has announced it will showcase major upgrades to its Packz, CloudFlow and iC3D product lines at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona, focusing on accelerated pre-press workflows and automated label production tasks.

The Ghent-based company's latest innovations emphasize design-to-print accuracy and streamlined operations for label and packaging production, demonstrating intelligent automation and AI-driven workflows.

Packz Max represents a significant advancement in PDF editing technology, integrating Harlequin RIP directly for precise flexo screening, 1-bit TIFF output and high-quality flexo and offset printing capabilities. The company will also demonstrate Packzimizer, an automated ganging and lane planning tool designed for digital label printing. The technology optimizes layout, minimizes waste and improves press efficiency while functioning as a module within the CloudFlow workflow automation suite.

Hybrid Software's pre-press technology for peel-off labels now supports adhesive-free zones, CLP/CHS compliance and 3D visualization through Packz and CloudFlow integration. CloudFlow Colorspace, winner of the 2025 EDP and Pinnacle Awards, ensures consistent color reproduction across a wide range of substrates and printing technologies.

iC3D 11 introduces a smart embellishment application with spot color detection and visual previews of foil, embossing and varnish effects early in pre-press workflows. The company's OEM Software division, Global Graphics Software, will demonstrate SmartDFE, the AI-driven digital front end recently recognized with the King's Award for Enterprise.

Sister companies Meteor Inkjet and Xitron will join Hybrid Software at booth 5E55 in Hall 5. Meteor will showcase its high-speed PCC3-E print controller, designed for demanding 1,200 DPI printheads, while Xitron will demonstrate Navigator and K2 workflows with Harlequin RIP core integration. The BrandZ team will meet with brand owners, retailers and CPG companies to explore Artflow software capabilities for packaging and artwork processes.
