Loftware launches supplier labeling network
New network replaces fragmented supplier coordination with unified digital labeling infrastructure.
Loftware has launched Loftware Connect, a platform that connects organizations with their trading partners for product identification and labeling across global supply chains, replacing email-driven coordination with a structured digital network.
The platform allows companies to onboard suppliers, standardize product identification processes across regions and distribute printing instructions through shared workspaces. Trading partners can self-register and subscribe to connection points, automatically identifying and labeling products to the required format without needing direct access to label templates or core systems. Companies can update identification requirements without disrupting supplier workflows.
'For decades, product identification has been managed within the four walls of the enterprise,' said Jim Bureau, CEO of Loftware. 'But goods move across borders, through suppliers, co-packers and distribution centers, creating costly unknowns like a mislabeled component delaying an assembly line or triggering regulatory fines. Loftware Connect ensures that every partner, every process and every product identity is aligned.'
The company says the platform reduces rejected shipments, lowers compliance costs, accelerates order processing and improves inventory velocity across global operations.
'We designed this product to validate the core features of a connected trading partner network: secure connections, governed collaboration and controlled information distribution,' noted Michelle Northey, chief product officer at Loftware. 'This is the beginning of a broader journey toward intelligent and network-driven supply chain coordination.'
