Xeikon Café TV to demonstrate fleXflow
Xeikon’s upcoming Café TV session will focus on complete digital pouch production, supported by the company’s fleXflow technology, giving attendees a deeper understanding and advice on the whole process required for successful production.

Attendees will have access to the latest technical demonstrations and the opportunity to hear customer testimonials from Simon Smith, managing director and Adam James, operations director of CS Labels/CS Pouches in the UK and Gustavo Guzzi, EMEA sales manager of Karlville Pouch Converting Solutions. There will also be a Q&A session with all speakers.
‘Digital pouch production is a perfect fit for label converters looking to diversify and expand their business,’ said Stefan Clopterop, market segment manager for labels at Xeikon. ‘The fleXflow process revolutionizes pouch making by offering zero-after-cure of the laminate. This is an eco-friendly technology without the use of solvents during print and lamination, offering high bonding strength and low complexity in the handling and construction of many different types of pouch.
‘We are holding the Xeikon Café TV demonstration to give converters the confidence to step into new markets. The production of pouches can be combined with an existing label business which is an attractive option, thereby easing the burden of a financial risk which is sometimes linked to entering new markets. The opportunities at present have never been higher. During this current Covid-19 pandemic, there have been significant increases in e-commerce and higher local demand because of disrupted supply chains from other countries. Brand owners are looking for local suppliers of pouches to secure and improve the flexibility of their supply chain and ensure the safety of their products.’
