Xeikon launches new service packages

Digital printing equipment specialist Xeikon has introduced a range of tailored service and support packages for its customers.
 
Xeikon Competence offers training and consultancy services, including: advanced operator training, productivity and workflow training, advanced media script training, print consultancy, advanced operator course for duplex presses, advanced operator course for simplex presses and a basic course for the Xeikon X-800 digital front end.
 
Xeikon Care is a range of service contracts that help print houses increase productivity and protect revenue by minimizing downtime.  Xeikon Care Platinum includes several consultancy services, Gold offers fixed service costs for both materials and labor, Silver allows users to control material costs, and Bronze covers a standard service contract that guarantees continuous system performance. 
 
Xeikon Integration covers installation and the first year of integration of a new machine. Different packages are available but each includes machine installation, basic operator training, application production training and a Xeikon Care Gold service contract.  Xeikon Integration Optimal includes additional professional training and on-call print consultancy, Flexible includes 10 days of on-call print consultancy, Enhanced offers advanced customised training and Basic includes professional installation, as well as standard operator and application training.
 
In addition, Xeikon has introduced Smart Services, a collection of additional services designed to add value to digital printing operations, including: media scripting, local on-call standby service, print production line relocation and a preventive maintenance visit.
 
Xeikon’s vice president of service Frederik Vervenne said: ‘Service is becoming more critical in today’s print market of tighter deadlines.  Our packages are useful to customers who are new to digital printing, as well as established companies that want to increase production, improve operators’ know-how or move into new markets.
