Apex prepares for the future

Apex Group of Companies has made investments in production, quality and people a key component of its preparations for growth in the next decade.

Bas van der Poel has been named technical sales manager at Apex Group of Companies

Investments include strategic plans for the expansion of production capacity and quality assurance on a global scale, as well as research and development of new products and technologies, a new CRM package and new sales and service personnel.

Willem-Jan Kersten, vice-president of sales for the EMEA region and Asia at Apex Group of Companies, said: ‘We are pleased that we are able to make such major investments despite a challenging economic environment. Investing in technical support and service is crucial to Apex as one of our core values is supporting our customers with the best service and knowledge.’

As part of this strategy, Apex has appointed flexo specialist Bas van der Poel to the newly created position of technical sales manager. His role will cover service and support of OEMs and key accounts.

He will also become sales manager for Africa and the Middle East, both areas that he is acquainted with and sees as a growth challenge for Apex.
