Zeus Group and Engelmann & Buckham have formed a strategic collaboration to deliver integrated packaging automation and consumables to UK manufacturers, logistics operators, food producers, e-commerce fulfillment centers and industrial businesses.
The partnership combines Zeus's packaging consumables portfolio and national customer reach with E&B's technical expertise in automation, materials handling, packaging machinery and end-of-line systems.
Zeus will serve as the commercial partner, working with clients to understand production processes, operational challenges and automation needs. E&B will deliver machinery capability, including site assessment, process mapping, specification, technology design, pricing, system integration, supply, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance packages.
The collaboration will also explore rent-to-buy and finance-through-consumables models, allowing customers to acquire machinery via structured rental agreements linked to ongoing consumables usage.
'This partnership significantly strengthens our automation strategy and enhances the value we deliver to customers,' said Keith Ockenden, UK group managing director at Zeus. 'By combining E&B's engineering and machinery expertise with Zeus's national reach, packaging manufacturing and consumables portfolio, we are creating an efficient, competitive and integrated offering for UK clients.'
'Our packaging process, materials handling and end-of-line automation align perfectly with Zeus's extensive customer relationships and packaging consumables capability,' added Iain Buckham, chairman at Engelmann & Buckham. 'Together, we can provide a seamless, end-to-end approach from specifying the right machinery to maintaining it and ensuring optimal performance with the right materials.'
