Bobst golf day raises 8,000 GBP for charity

Ninth annual event brings nine-year total to over 116,000 GBP for armed forces charity.

Bobst UK and Ireland has raised 8,000 GBP (10,100 USD) for the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Benevolent Fund at its ninth annual charity golf day at Redditch Golf Club, bringing the total raised across all nine events to over 116,000 GBP (146,500 USD).

Twenty-two teams from across the print industry participated in the event, which supports the volunteer-run organization providing occupational and social integration opportunities for injured members of the armed forces. Arden Dies took first place on the day, with MM Packaging second and Close Brothers third.

'Year after year, this event proves what a remarkable industry we work in,' said Neil Jones, region services director and general manager at Bobst. 'What started as a small gathering has grown into one of the highlights of the print calendar, a day where competition and camaraderie combine for a genuinely important cause.'

Bobst will continue to support the DMRC Benevolent Fund as its dedicated charity of choice, with details of the 2027 golf day to be announced.
