Konica Minolta employees raise funds for cancer

KM Ultra Walk is a 28‑mile endurance event that supports Cancer Research UK.

Following the success of its 7‑mile Royal Parks Walk in June, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) has taken on the KM Ultra Walk, a 28‑mile endurance event, in support of Cancer Research UK.

The Ultra Walk is the second of two sponsored events Konica Minolta has organized this year in partnership with Challenge Central, reinforcing the company’s commitment to creating positive social impact and supporting the communities it serves. While the first walk brought colleagues together for an accessible, inclusive challenge, the Ultra Walk is giving participants the opportunity to push themselves further and make an even greater fundraising impact.

Starting in Epping, this 28-mile route is largely flat and takes in peaceful sections of the Thames Path, Victoria Park, Granary Square and finishes at St Pancras. The route takes walkers through a full‑day challenge designed to test stamina, teamwork and determination. Konica Minolta hopes the event will build on the strong momentum generated earlier in the year, with employees across the UK already showing enthusiasm for taking part or supporting colleagues through donations.

Reflecting on the year’s charity efforts, Gillian Nuttall, ESG partner at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK), said: 'The energy and generosity shown during our Royal Parks Walk in June was truly inspiring, and today’s Ultra Walk gives us another opportunity to come together for a cause that matters deeply to so many. This challenge is about resilience, teamwork and the belief that every mile brings us closer to breakthroughs in cancer research. We’re incredibly proud of everyone taking part and grateful to all who support our fundraising efforts.'
