Xaar appoints Printpac as distributor

Xaar has appointed Printpac as an official distributor for the Xaar Versatex Printbar in the UK and Ireland, as the group continues to expand local access to digital embellishment and specialist print capabilities for label, packaging and converting applications. 

Through the agreement, Printpac will provide sales, service and support for Versatex, helping UK and Irish customers add digital capability to their existing analog presses, finishing lines and converting equipment.

The Versatex Printbar gives converters a flexible path to add digital effects and functional print capability without replacing existing machines. Available in varnish, white and variable data black options, it drives value-added applications, meeting the growing demand for packaging embellishments. Spot varnish, high-build gloss, matte textures, cold foil, high-opacity white, braille, black variable data and personalization all become possible on existing analog label or packaging lines.

Printpac founder Neil Stephenson brings more than 25 years of printing industry experience to the partnership.
