MCC has invested in two Bobst Master M6 in-line flexo presses to enhance production capabilities across its EMEA operations.

The investment marks a milestone in the partnership between the US-headquartered label company and Bobst, with the Master M6 combining DigiFlexo automation, the oneECG color process and advanced job-change capabilities.

'Investing in two Bobst Master M6 in-line flexo presses is a strategic step in MCC's long-term growth plan,' stated Chris Gannon, VP of operations, EMENA at MCC. 'Our decision reflects a clear commitment to strengthening our production capabilities and meeting the evolving needs of our customers across the EMEA region. Bobst has been a trusted partner for many years, and their consistent innovation, technical expertise and responsive service make this choice a natural extension of our existing relationship.’

The Master M6 completes job changeovers in less than two minutes with automated pressure and register settings to reduce operator intervention. The technology can boost production output by up to 67 percent compared to traditional flexo presses through oneECG process integration and digitalized workflows.

The system minimizes setup waste by as much as 65 percent, supporting sustainability and cost-effectiveness, according to Bobst. The press handles materials from film to paper with perfect register across different substrates and applications.

'By combining MCC's deep expertise with Bobst's advanced equipment, we are positioning ourselves to provide greater value to our customers and drive measurable performance improvements across our EMEA operations,' Gannon added.
