Cartes participates in Label Forum Japan
With more than 30 machines installed in Japan, Cartes has an established presence in the country.
Cartes participated in Label Forum Japan 2026 in collaboration with Screen GP Japan, its agent in the Japanese market.
Held from October 14-16 at Tokyo Big Sight, the event provided an opportunity to connect with Japan’s label industry and present the scope of Cartes’ converting and embellishment technologies.
With more than 30 machines installed in Japan, Cartes has an established presence in the country, reflecting the trust Japanese label producers have placed in its technologies over the years.
This installed base provides a strong foundation for the company’s continued development in the market, alongside Screen GP JAPAN.
For Cartes, the event offered a setting to discuss how converting and embellishment can help label manufacturers combine distinctive design with precise production requirements.
Its technology portfolio covers laser die-cutting, Jet D-Screen digital embellishment, hot stamping, screen printing, flexo printing, embossing and die-cutting.
The company’s modular approach allows different processes to be combined according to each converter’s applications and production needs.
This flexibility supports the development of labels that bring together visual impact, tactile effects and intricate finishing.
Jet D-Screen, Cartes’ proprietary digital embellishment technology, enables effects including raised varnish, multilayer applications and metallic doming. Its laser converting technologies extend design possibilities through contactless processing, supporting complex shapes and detailed label designs.
The collaboration with Screen GP Japan combines Cartes’ technological expertise with local market knowledge and established customer relationships. Participation in Label Forum Japan formed part of this ongoing work to support Japanese converters as they explore new applications and investment opportunities.
