Abbott Label has joined Avery Dennison's AD Link Partner Program, connecting the Dallas-based converter to a wider network of resources and industry expertise as it looks to broaden its RFID capabilities.

The AD Link Partner Program is an initiative by Avery Dennison's label and packaging materials division designed to support, train and partner with label converters and manufacturers, particularly in the RFID and intelligent label market.

The partnership enables Abbott Label to expand its radio frequency identification offering for customers across retail, supply chain, logistics, healthcare and transportation.

Abbott Label operates a 15,000 square-foot RFID production facility in Nashville, Tennessee, equipped with high-speed RFID printing and encoding systems, precision die-cutting and converting machinery and quality control and testing equipment. The plant, led by industry veteran Mark Davenport who has more than 30 years of experience in RFID technology, handles both high-volume and custom projects
