DuPont Cyrel opens North America technology center
Wilmington facility launches alongside new family of renewable flexo plates.
DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions has opened a Customer Technology Center at the DuPont Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware, providing a collaborative space for customers, partners and DuPont experts to test, develop and innovate in flexographic printing.
The opening was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by DuPont CEO Lori Koch, president of diversified industrials Beth Ferreira and other senior leaders alongside industry partners.
Alongside the CTC opening, DuPont launched Cyrel ReNew, a new family of flexographic plates made with more than 50 percent of raw materials attributed to ISCC-certified renewable sources using a mass balance methodology.
The first product in the range, Cyrel ReNew LSH, incorporates LED exposure technology from the Cyrel Lightning platform and is designed as a plug-and-play replacement for conventional Cyrel Lightning LSH plates, delivering equivalent print performance with a reduced carbon footprint.
'From plate technologies to workflows and services, our aim is to help our customers do more, with confidence, consistency and responsibility,' said Tucker Norton, vice president and general manager for DuPont Printing and Films.
DuPont will showcase Cyrel ReNew and its full portfolio at FTA Forum InfoFlex 2026.
