The new site will be used primarily for CNC machining, which will allow the company to expand its anilox roll manufacturing capacity to support increased demand. The new plant began operations at the end of June.

Aside from investment in the new facility, Cheshire continues to add new equipment. Over the past 12 months it has installed a new CNC machine, a semi-automatic grinder, and new interferometry volume measurement equipment for high-precision and consistent anilox volumetric control.

‘We are excited about the growth we’ve experienced,’ said Sonia Arcos, technical sales director for Cheshire. ‘Opening an additional facility in Manchester, along with investing in more machining and quality control equipment, demonstrates our ability to evolve and increase the services we provide to our customers as we capture share in this ever-evolving market.’
