Color-Logic images take honors in PIANKO competition

Color-Logic images were used by three winners of the 2011 Print Excellence Awards competition recently held by Printing Industries of Ohio and Northern Kentucky in the US.
Crest Graphics won a gold medal for its 2011 ADDY ShowBook, the annual review of the best work of AdClub Cincinnati members. The project, a 68-page full color book produced using offset printing with metallic special effects throughout, also garnered an award for the Best of Division for Under 20 Employees.
The Printing Plant received a bronze medal for a cosmetics pouch produced with flexographic printing.
Color-Logic’s director of sales and marketing Mark Geeves said: ‘Not only did two printers receive medals for their printing using the Color-Logic process, it is important to note that the awards were granted by the judges for both lithographic and flexographic printing. This demonstrates that the Color-Logic process is effective for brand promotion and market extensions regardless of the printing method employed. We are deeply gratified by the awards received by our licensed printers.’
